Hotel Savoia is located near the Exhibition Centre and is only a short journey away from Bologna city centre by bus. Bologna city centre is just 3 miles - 4,8km from the hotel. BLQ airport is just 7 miles - 11,3km and is also accessible by public transportation. Other local points of interest include Malvezzi Palace-Montagnola-Palazzo Comunale-Piazza Dei Martiri-San Domenico and University of Bologna.
Accommodation
At present there are 42 rooms, but soon new rooms will be added to these. They will have all the comfort which modern customers require: Minibar provided with more than thirty items, TV with six satellite links, double phones, computer socket, hairdryer, courtesy sets with more than fifteen items, safe -deposit box, indipendent air conditionning (included air conditionning).Every building is characterized by different rooms as for colour and details. The upper floors keep aside (riservare) the warm and romantic atmosphere of the wooden ceiling while the rooms of the old stable have a Tuscany tiled floor, in other rooms you will find fitted-carpet. The hotel does not lack junior suites with hydromassage or sauna.Every customer will find alll these very modern facilities which grant him the maximum comfort, as well as a painstacking service in every detail: the fruit basket will welcome our customers and will offer fresh fruits during their whole stay. Every evening the rooms are rearranged and a present from the management wishes "goodnight" to our guests.
Restaurants & Lounges
At the Savoia Hotel everything is planned to perfection particularly speaking about the restaurant. The management has strategically decided to let the restaurant be run by very capable people who have been working in this field for many years! "Danilo e Patrizia", close-knit family with a long tradition is awaiting for you in a tiny and cosy restaurant. In the Summer a nice terrace deep in a small garden makes it more valuable. It would be useless to quote all the mediterranean specialities, also because every week new dishes will be added to the menu! We would like to invite you to come as soon as possible to taste the dishes that Danilo and Patrizia will suggest recommend.Business brunches and lunches coinciding with meetings are light and quick and have already been tested by five years of successes, while menus for weddings, anniversaries or gala nights will be personalized together with the customer. For those who prefer an effective alternative to the traditional restaurant service there is the "Pastry Workshop" that offers croissants, pastries, bisquits, cookies and cakes.
Meetings
It is unique in its kind, included on a structure which has an indipendent entrance, the congress hall is situated in a building completely dedicated to it. It is made up of eleven rooms and halls, the smallest one is perfect for interviews, the largest one offers 450 seats and people can enter directly from outside without finding any obstacles or steps, there aren't columns, the light is natural and it is 4,5 metres high. Thanks to the fact that the congress hall is composed by modules, we can host several events at the same time, as well as events which are very complex and which require different plenary rooms and different subgroup rooms.We are able to organize every kind of event just listening very carefully to the requests and needs of every single customer and preparing personalized packages without leaving anything unattended. This in order to let our customers feel the highest professionalism and competence which will accompany you untill the end of the event.
