It's aptly nickname, "Queen of the Sea," featuring a spiral staircase that winds up 3 floors past arched, stain-glass windows and a statue mermaid head on the banister to a quaint domed ceiling.
There are lovely cast seashells covering wall lights and the decor is colorful and relaxed, with modern clay pots, wall art, and festive fabrics and bedspreads - vintage Mexico. Guests in this villa enjoy all the flavors of authentic Mexico.
The 3 bedrooms have private baths with charming Mexican wall, shower and counter top tiles. Two bedrooms have ocean front views. The home features classic Mexican floor tiles throughout.
Sunsets from the livingroom are unforgettable with double glass doors that swing open to a patio overlooking the ocean. We have a small 8'x10' dipping pool with umbrella, sunning lounges and table for breakfast.
The villa is located at the end of a quiet "lovers lane" - a narrow, cobblestone street lined with palm trees. The best part may be that you are only a 3 minute walk to the most lively nightlife and shopping in Puerto Villarta and the city's ocean front boardwalk.
