Magnificent former victorian hunting lodge hotel on Isle of Skye Set in own grounds of 25 acres overlooking the Sound of Sleat to the mountains.
Upon arrival at the Duisdale you will be shown to your comfortable en-suite bedroom by one of our friendly members of staff. Later you could enjoy a pre-dinner drink in our snug bar. Then make your way into the Duisdale Dining room where you will enjoy some of the finest cuisine in the West of Scotland, consisting of fresh local fish and game, a swell as fresh herbs and vegetables from the Duisdale gardens. Coffee and after dinner drinks can be enjoyed in the lounge in front of a warm log fire. In the morning you will awake to mist creeping over the mountains of Glenelg & Knoydart and a full Scottish breakfast, served in the garden conservatory. The gardens are abundant with mature shrubs and plants, reminiscent of the Horticulture of a bygone era. The grounds also feature a croquet lawn and putting green for those lazy summer afternoons. Unfortunately pets are not allowed in the Hotel.
