On arrival in the centre of Adelboden, turn left onto the Dorfstrasse. 500m further on, turn left onto the Risenstrasse, to arrive at the hotel garage. By train: international trains to Frutigen and taxi pick-up service or public bus.

Location
The resort of Adelboden, situated on a sunny stepped terrace in the Engstligen Valley in the Bernese Oberland, was first discovered by vacationers just after the turn of the century. Countless visitors have been attracted by the area, which has been declared an area of outstanding natural beauty, the towering peaks and the away-from-it-all atmosphere. Skier will love this village for the limitless skiing facilities and the off-slope fun. Not surprisingly, it has become a popular training venue for many national teams. Recently Adelboden treated itself to a facelift to meet the expectations of today's international travelers. Traffic levels were radically reduced and the main street was pedestrianised inviting to wonderful evening strolls.
Yet the village lies some 1350 m/ 4,500 feet above sea level, it is still easily accessible by either public transport or private car. If you are traveling by car, the village is just a half-hour's drive along the well-maintained roads after the "Spiez" motorway exit; the car journey from Zurich or Basel takes about 2 hours. Train travelers arrive at Frutigen, a stop for all the trains on the Loetschberg main line, and then take one of the modern buses to the village. Berne International Airport is only 70 km/ 43 miles away.
