Together with the sauna and fitness room, the swimming pool (13m x 5m) is a frequently used area of the hotel. Beauty care is also an important part of relaxing and successful holidays, both for the modern lady, and also, occasionally, for men.

All rooms have shower or bath, WC, hairdryer, colour TV, radio, minibar and safe. Rooms are also wheelchair accessible, via the lift.

Walzenhausen is situated in the east part of the canton Appenzell A.Rh., approx. 670 meters over sea or 300m over the Lake Constance. The village unitised into three districts: “Dorf”, “Platz” and “Lachen”. After a rich history as a textile-village, Walzenhausen shows up today as well-known cure and holidays place, which develop to its own health area in the Appenzeller country.
