- The Abilene Super 8 would like to invite you to visit Abilene and enjoy all that our small historic town has to offer, from the Eisenhower Center to the restaurants, antique and specialty shops. Abilene is the site of the Eisenhower center with the museum, library and boyhood home of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. At the Heritage Center you will find a history of early Abilene as well as an antique CW Parker Carousel and the Antique Telephone Museum. The National Greyhound Racing Association has its home and museum here as well.
- The historic homes of Abilene, to include the Seeley Mansion with the Patent Medicine Museum were recently honored with the Gemmy Award by the Travel Industry and the recently restored 1880's Lebold Mansion, which is considered a National Historical Landmark, are well worth the visit. We have two golf courses nearby as well as many antique shops, and great restaurants for your dining pleasure. Live Theater is available from March through December at the Great Plains Theater.
- We offer free local calls, HBO, free parking and have large vehicle parking available. The coffee is always on, so do drop in, have a cup or glass of iced tea and a cookie and stay and visit for a bit. We like to think of our guests as family and want you to feel like you are coming home when you stay with us.
