NYS Thruway (I-87) to Albany (Exit 24) take Adirondack Northway to Exit 30 follow Route 9 North to two miles to Route 73. Left at 1st traffic light in Lake Placid on to Route 86 for 1.5 miles. Howard Johnson Resort will be on your right. - Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Points Mid-State
NYS Thruway (I-87) to Syracuse Exit 36. Follow I-81 North to Watertown then East on Route 3 to Saranac Lake, NY. Take Route 86 form Saranac Lake to Lake Placid, Howard Johnson will be on your left. - Montreal and Points North
Take the Adirondak Northway (I-87) South to Exit 34. Route 9N to Jay, NY then Route 86 to Lake Placid. Howard Johnson will be 1.5 miles from the first traffic light on Route 86. Right hand side of the road. - Ottawa and Toronto Areas
Cross the border in Cornwall, Ontario. Follow Route 37 to Malone, NY. Take Route 30 South to Paul Smiths, NY. Pick up Route 86 to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Howard Johnson will be on your left.
