Pakistan Visa Information: Tourism Visas

A tourist visa is required for most nationalities travelling to Pakistan. Visas should be applied for via your home country's Pakistan Embassy, and can be given either for single or for multple entry. Visas are valid from the date of issue, and the period of stay is calculated from the time your arrive in Pakistan.

Visa Requirements: Your passport should be valid for at least six months and you may be required to present your travel documents (itinerary, hotel booking and return travel) with your visa application.

Pakistan Visa Information: Business Visas

If you intend to travel to Pakistan on business, you will need to apply for a a business visa via your home country's Pakistan embassy. You will need to include a letter of invitatin from your business associate in Pakistan with your application for your visa.

There are certain conditions under which you may be exempt from pre-arranging your business visa and instead obtain a business visa-on-arrival, namely if you possess any of the following documentation:

- a recommendatory letter from Chamber of Commerce & Industries (CC&I) of the respective country of visitor
- an invitation letter from business organization duly recommended by the concerned Trade Organization/Association in Pakistan
- a recommendatory letter by investment Consular of Board of Investment posted at Pakistan Mission abroad

These business visas-on-arrival can be granted at the following airports: Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar.
