In the autumn of 2004, the hotel was beautifully transformed from a typical Victorian hotel to one that is modern and contemporary, whilst retaining many of its orginal features. The transformation also includes the contemporary Hg1 Bar & Brasserie, a very popular venue with both our guests and local residents.
