The AWARD WINNING and non smoking 'Southbourne Villa' is a relaxing place to stay and explore Torquay at your leisure. This charming detached Victorian Villa is situated in a quiet conservation area near Torre Abbey.

We have substantially refurbished most bedrooms this season to provide todays discerning guest with 21st Century facilities within quality surroundings. We offer you free broadband internet access wireless to your laptop. We also have a free to use wireless laptop for you to check your emails etc and fax / office facilities for all guests as well as the busy business traveller.(subject to availability) In all rooms we offer remote control 30 channel digital television with audio channels and DVD/CD player as well as an alarm clock radio. The Southbourne Villa is a gracious 19th Century detached Victorian Villa with all modern comforts including full central heating and double glazing and is your ideal choice for both business and pleasure. The Resident Proprietors with 28 years experience in the hotel / hospitality industry aim to make your stay comfortable,relaxing and enjoyable. Our level of service,comfort and customer care and attention is our sole commitment to all our guests,come and stay and see for yourself. For your relaxation we have an open air garden 'Hot Tub Spa' for that essential hot water massage,surrounded by illuminated sun decking with patio heaters and oak furniture.(Open daily from April until early October) We also have an adjoining patio with bistro tables and chairs and sun beds screened by illuminated Torbay Palms. The Southbourne Villa has a large spacious dining room and seperate but adjacent fully licensed bar on the ground floor serving draught lager & bitter. We also carry a very extensive range of wines, spirits and liqueurs at very competitive prices. On a warm day or evening our guests often enjoy their refreshments 'al fresco' as you can access the patio,sundeck and terrace directly from the lounge bar. We serve complementary tea and coffee throughout the day,served in the lounge,the bar,in your room or on the sun terrace. We have a lovely sun lounge where guests can relax with a daily paper, a book or catch up with their e-mail or watch television. The Southbourne Villa is a non-smoking establishment for your comfort and safety,therefore smoking is not permitted inside the building.
