Visa Requirements for Amman, Jordan

While most countries require a visa to enter Jordan, many do not require pre-approval and can hence obtain their visa on arrival in Jordan. Nationalities include: 

The Americans: USA, Canada, Argentina, Brazil
Europe: UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands
Oceania: Australia, New Zealand and Fiji
Asia: India, Singapore and Malaysia
Africa: South Africa, Egypt

In addition, South African and Egyptian nationals do not need to pay a fee for their Jordan visa.

Passport Requirements for Entry to Jordan

All travellers wishing to enter Jordan by obtaining a visa on arrival must ensure they have the following:

- passport valid for six months
- a passport photograph- application fom (obtainable from border office)

Visas are valid for either single or multiple entry. If you would prefer to organise your visa before departure, travellers from the above countries are also able to apply for their visa via their local Jordan Embassy.

Visa Requirements for Amman, Jordan: Pre-approval

Selected countries require pre-approval for their Jordan visa, hence this needs to be applied for before departure. Countries include:

Pakistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Cuba, and Colombia
