Tokyo's Narita Airport: Airport Guide
Tokyo Narita Airport (NRT), 66 kilometres (40 miles) north-east of Tokyo, is one of the world's major international gateways, handling approximately 25,000,000 passengers a year, on a par with Singapore Changi and Paris Orly airports.
Tokyo Narita Airport has just two terminals, each serving several airlines and a large number of destinations. The terminals are 1.6 kilometres (1 mile) apart and linked by frequent shuttle buses that leave every ten minutes. Each terminal has a variety of restaurants, bars, news-stands and shops. Business services, banks and ATMs are also available, along with airline club lounges catering to the needs of frequent, business and first-class flyers.
Tokyo's Narita Airport: Getting into town
Car Rental
Most major car rental firms serve Narita. It should be noted that for visitors from outside Japan driving in this country can be a little daunting, and most travellers use public transport, except in the smaller rural areas.
Parking
Car parking can be found at Tokyo Narita Airport in P1 car park and P2 parking building; the numbers relate to the associated terminals.
Tokyo's Haneda Airport: Airport Guide
At present, Haneda Airport primarily handles domestic flights, with international flights to capitals in China and South Korea. The airport is equiped with ground transport facilities and currency exchange, as well as duty free shops, restaurants, as well as a barber and 'relaxation salon' and dentist.

Rail
The Monorail is a fast way to get to Hamamatsucho Station in Tokyo city. It takes 18 minutes and the fare is 470 yen, with no transfers. It is also possible to take the Monorail to Tokyo Station in 29 minutes for a fare of 620 yen, however you will need to change once to continue to Tokyo Station.
The Keihin Express takes slighly longer, at 45 minutes, and fares range from 400 to 650 yen. It can take you to Shinagawa Station, or Tokyo, Shinjuku or Ikebukuro Stations via Shinagawa Station.
Buses
Various bus operators run between Haneda Airport and Tokyo, with the fares starting at 600 yen. You can organise your journey at one of the travel counters inside the airport.
