Most international flights arrive in Marrakech at Menara International Airport, including several low cost airlines such as EasyJet (for flight from London and the rest of Europe). Some flights touch down at Casablanca and require a plane change for the 45-minute flight to Marrakech.
The easiest way to get into central Marrakech from Menara International Airport is by taxi however there is also a public bus into town, bus 11, which departs close to the terminal building and runs roughly every 30 minutes. The airport is also a fairly short drive from town is you are planning to hire your own car. If you would like more detailed information on Menara International Airport, please see our dedicated Marrakech Airport Guide.
Morocco has a limited but well-organised train system which links Marrakech (at the southern end of the line) with Tangier and Fez (northern end), running along the coast via Casablanca's Mohamed V Airport. There are several daily departures for most routes, with the Marrakech-Casablanca journey operating seven times a day. See the ONCF website for full departure times. /p>
The standard of the train service in Morocco is known to be very high, with air-conditioned First Class coaches available as well as comfortable four-berth sleeper cabins for overnight journeys (typically the full Marrakech to Tagier route). The easiest way to buy your ticket is directly at a train station in Morocco.
Supratour and CTM coach companies operate bus connections from Marrakech to Agadir and Essaouira on the coast, as well as other destinations.
