Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s main port, largest city and commercial capital is situated on one of the worlds largest natural harbours on the Indian Ocean in the southern region of Tanzania, boasting 1,424km of coastline. The biggest Central East African country stretches from 3º–10ºS, with three natural borders – Lake Tanganyika in the west, Lake Malawi in the southwest and the Ruvuma River in the south. It borders Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, the DRC, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique.
