Verona - Airports

Two airports lie in close proximity to the city of Verona - Verona International Airport (or Catullo), and Bresica Airport.

Verona International Airport (VRN): Airport Guide

Verona's main airport, Verona International Airport (VRN), is situated approximately 12km from the city centre. It is also known as Verona Catullo Airport or Verona Villafranca Airport. It handles both domestic and international traffic, and is the province of Verona's primary air hub. 

Short term parking facilities are located in the parking areas closest to the Arrivals and Departures terminals at a cost of €0,50 for the first 30 minutes.

Leisure Facilities
The airport offers a range of leisure facilities including a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. There are internet facilities and ATMs located throughout the airport, and a chapel on the first floor. There is also a tourist counter which is able to provide information on Verona and the surrounding area, and arrange accomodation and tours.

Business Facilities
Passengers travelling on Business Class tickets are able to organise an express check-in service to avoid time spent in queues. There is also a meeting room available for use, and an exclusive lounge, the Catullo Lounge, available for Business Class travellers.

Disabled Facilities
The airport offers the standard facilities including disabled toilets, reserved parking spaces located near the terminal entrances, and lifts located throughout the airport.

Verona International Airport: Getting Into Town

Public Transport
While there are is no train station located close to the airport, one can take the Aerobus from the airport to Verona's main train station. The service operates (airport to town) between the hours of 6:30am and 11:30pm, and a single journey costs €4,50.

Taxis
Taxis can be found outside the Arrivals hall, and will be able to transport you to Verona, neighbouring towns, or Lake Garda.

Verona Bresica Airport: Airport Guide

Bresica Airport, also called Verona Bresica Airport, is situated 60km from Verona in Montichiari. Although it is quite a distance outside of the city, it is still popular with tourists visiting Verona as it is used by many low-cost carriers such as RyanAir and Jet2.

Leisure Facilities and Lounges 
The airport has a small selection of shops and a cafe. There is also an ATM and VIP waiting lounge. 

Disabled Facilities
Bresica Airport offers the usual disabled facilities including reserved parking spaces located close to the terminal entrances.

Verona Bresica Airport: Getting Into Town

Public Transport
Two buses run from Bresica Airport - one to Bresica Autostazione at a fare of €7.50, and another to Verona's Porta Nuova train station for a fare of €11. These often run according to the airline schedules and hence will wait for passengers should there be any flight delays.

Taxis
The taxi stand is located outside the arrivals hall.
