Airport Tax
There is an airport tax of Rp150,000 for passengers departing on international flight from Indonesia, and Rp.25,000 for domestic flights.
Location
Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is located in southern Bali, approximately 16 kilometres (10 miles) from the capital city Denpasar and 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) from Kuta. It is Indonesia’s third busiest airport and has two terminals, one domestic and one international.
Arriving in Bali airport can be a daunting experience if you have just had a long flight with little sleep. Do not expect a large Western-style airport with the comforts of home, although the airport does have the essentials, and is clean and well-kept. Part of the experience is the numerous transport, tour and hotel touts you are sure to encounter as you make your way through customs and to your transport.
Parking
Ngurah Rai Airport has parking space for 2000 cars in one main car parking area close to the terminals.

Leisure & PassengerFacilities The airport has excellent passenger facilities including several banks, ATMs, bureaux de change, restaurants and a first-class shopping area. There are also spa and massage facilities in both terminals.
Business Facilities & Lounges
There are two lounges at the airport, with shower facilities, TV and WiFi. The duration of stay is a maximum of three hours and there is a fee charged for your stay.

Car RentalFor those looking to hire a car on arrival in Bali, there are four car rental companies represented at Ngurah Rai Airport. These are Toyota, Hertz, Blue Bird and Koperasi Taxi.
Taxis and Public Transport
Airport taxis operate at a fixed price to destinations around the island – approximate costs are:
Airport to Kuta: Rp. 50,000
Airport to Denpasser: Rp. 90,000
Airprot to Singaraja: Rp. 435,000
If you are intent on having a local experience and wish to take a public minibus, bear in mind that large bags and rucksacks take up the space of an extra person and hence it is not entirely unfair to double-charge. This will still be considerably cheaper than a taxi and, if you can handle the often squashed and sweaty ride, is an amazing way to see Balinese life first-hand as well as meet locals.
Shuttle Buses and Transfers
Several companies run transfers in air-conditioned cars, however the most reliable way to organise this is to book with your hotel before you depart for Bali.
