Dubrovnik - Currency

ATMs are available in many parts of Dubrovnik - ensure you inform your bank before travelling abroad, and be aware you may be charged for cash withdrawals. It is advisable to exchange some cash before arriving in Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik - Notes and Coins

Currency

Croatian Kuna (kn or international HRK). Kuna bank notes come in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1,000. There are 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 lipe (singular lipa) coins and 1, 2 and 5 kunas.

Currency can be exchanged at banks, post offices, travel agencies and bureaux de change throughout the city.

Banking hours: Mon-Fri 07.30-19.00, Sat 07.30-11.00.
Dubrovacka and Privredna Banks are two of Dubrovnik’s main banks.

ATMs
ATMs are found throughout the city, at the airport, the bus station and ferry terminal. International credit or debit cards can be used for withdrawing cash.

Credit Cards
All major credit cards are accepted for payment in hotels, restaurants and shops. Euros and Dollars are also accepted in some places.
